A flower of colors

With spirals and lines

Eight pretty petals

And center of bright colors

Such a creative flower

Nature’s dark green

A beautiful color

Looks like a flake aglow

That floats around

Small little critter

With a stripe along it’s back

Settled at base of a tree

A favor to burrow by leaves

Is his name Alvin

The shapes shine bright

And bounce right out

Like colorful spikes

That shine in the dark

O so pretty

In a rotation gone wild

The colors crazy

Plaids, stripes and circles

If different size

It’s a pinwheel of fun

So many stripes and pinwheels

Flowers and stars

Bright n colorful

Stitched together perfectly

Like a patchwork quilt

Masked yellow eyes

With hands on the hips

This scary figure stands tall

Firm and confident

No favor to meet

Colors of autumn

Surround a tall empty branch

That reaches to the sky

In front of water

On a beautiful day of colors
